How do I sign up?
You can join by visiting one of our gyms and signing up at reception, or by signing up online. If you are aged 14 or 15, you must complete your membership in person at reception.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, please email the manager responsible for your branch and include your full name and the reason for cancellation. We require 30 days’ notice for all cancellations.

Can I freeze my membership?
Yes. Memberships can be frozen for a minimum of one month and a maximum of six months, with no charge. Please email info@absalutegym.co.uk and provide at least two weeks’ notice.
What is the difference between your memberships?
Our Standard Membership provides access during staffed hours, while our 24/7 Membership allows you to access the gym at any time, day or night. Please check the opening hours for your specific branch.
Is there a joining fee?
There is no joining fee. If you choose a contract membership, you will pay a pro-rata amount covering the remainder of the month in which you join.
How much is a day pass?
Day passes are £8.00, with the exception of St Albans where they are £10.00. There is no need to book in advance—simply visit the gym and pay on arrival. A member of our team will be available to assist you.

Is there free parking?
Free parking is available at seven of our gyms. At our Chelmsford and Bishop’s Stortford branches, you will need to enter your vehicle registration number on the tablet when you arrive. Maldon does not have designated gym parking, but free parking is available around the high street.
How old do I have to be to join the gym?
You must be 16 or over to join our Standard Memberships. Members aged 14 and 15 can also join, but an induction is compulsory and 24/7 access is not available to them. Please note that our St Albans branch is 16+ only.
Do I need an induction?
Inductions are not compulsory for members aged 16 and over. For members aged 14 or 15, an induction is mandatory. If you would like an induction, please speak to a member of our team and we will be happy to arrange one.
If I join the gym, do I have access to all locations?
Yes. Membership at one of our gyms includes access to all of our Essex-based locations at no additional cost. St Albans is the only exception.
